Seven finalists will receive $100, and the winners and all finalists will be published in the May 1, 2006 edition of Carve Magazine. All entries will be considered for publication in subsequent editions of Carve Magazine.
This year's contest judge is Bill Henderson, editor of the Pushcart Prize Anthology.
Entry is $15 for one story, $25/two, and $30 for three stories.
The deadline for entry is Monday, January 2nd, 2006. Complete guidelines are posted online at www.carvezine.com .
The contest is open to both new and established writers, and because all stories are considered for publication, is an excellent opportunity for students, If your school maintains an email list of graduate or creative writing students, you might consider forwarding this announcement to the them.
