Why does this website have so many ads cramping its original purpose? I was part of the original WriteLit website and it was unfortunate that it had problems but why is the reproduction different from the old one? It's okay to have ads but can't we have them properly placed somewhere more inconspicuous and not right smack in the middle? Similar entries |

Ads should be easily visible...
Hi ernestine,
Ads inconspicuously placed will defeat their very purpose. Since they are pay-per-click ads, that is, the website only earns if the ads are clicked, the most logical placements will be where the users and visitors will be able to easily see them. I'm running the entire site by myself and thus, I have to maximize the earning potential of the site.
I'm still experimenting with the placement and number of the ads, but more or less -- most probably less, what you see now is what you will get in the future especially with respect to the placement of the ads.
