Google Adsense on EFT

Most of the google adsense publisher around the globe receive their earnings by check. Mostly in dollar currency. While others, prefer to receive their earnings converted to their local currency with a $24 deduction as a transaction and convertion fee. This is recomended to those publisher located in an area, where Citibank is not availabe. Also, clearing your check in local currency is more faster than in dollars.

What about receiving your payment via Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). Sounds good. This kind of payment is permitted by google and available in only a limited number of countries. Recently, two countries were added to the list. Hungary and Hongkong. Publishers located in this countries can now sign-up to receive payments by electronic fund transfer. With EFT, your earnings will be directly deposited into your bank account. You dont need to wait for your checks to arrive in the mail and claim your money at the bank.

Signing up for EFT requires your bank account information and then verify it by depositing a small amount. With this kind of payment, you'll be receiving your earnings in your local currency. Currency conversion will be determined by the time of payment. Wire transfer via paypal, charges you $10 (correct me if I'm wrong). Maybe a charge closer to this amount can be expected.

Nowadays, Philippines is not yet included in the list. Who knows, the good news is about to come next year. This is possible coz google planned to extend this mode of payment to most countries they are available.

Moreover, I just can't think of a reason why google do not prefer to send the payment via paypal. Since paypal is a secure way to send and receive money worldwide.Wink
