After almost a month of upgrading the site, content creation is again enabled. It took a while for the site to be upgraded because this upgrade was a major one and there were some very tricky steps which I had to figure out. The difficulty of the upgrade combined with some personal issues which I had to take care of made this upgrade longer than I had intended.

To serve you better, and improve the site, we are upgrading from Drupal 4.7 to Drupal 5.0 so I've disabled creation and updating of content in the meantime.

If you are a new user and want to register, you are advised to do so after the upgrade so that your account data will not be lost.

To prevent our site being spammed, I've enabled captcha during registration of new users. Captcha is "a type of challenge-response test used in computing to determine whether the user is human."

In our case, if you're a new user, you will be asked to solve a simple math problem during registration. I hope this first line of defense against spam bots will work so that I won't have to enable captcha during posting of content. If you want an alternative to the rated review content type, in which you have to add an Amazon node first, and then create a review below it, you now have the option to use the former 'review' content type, which is now named 'solo-review.'
