Evil Magician, CHAP1
Beginning…
When a child is born, every parent sees a prodigy in front of them. Sometimes they are right but most of the time wrong. In this case a prodigy was born but not in a nice hospital or in a nice house. The prodigy was born in a car in Dublin, Ireland. This baby was not seen as a prodigy but as in extra mouth to feed for the family already had four boys and with a girl they saw more work. Also, they saw the little girl as a demon. Unlike the girl's brothers dark brown eyes the girl was born with green eyes rimmed in red. This was one of the million different signs of a prodigy and not a demon. The parents had looked all over the baby hoping to see the sign 666 marked on the baby. They didn't but still saw their baby girl as a demon. If they had knew that this little girl was to save the world and other worlds that existed in the universe maybe or perhaps the child would have had a different life.
Chapter One
She opened her eyes, not knowing where she was. All around her darkness engulfed her. It surrounded and suffocated her. She couldn't see her hands even as she put them close in front of her face. She didn't know whether she was lying down or not. She didn't know if she was standing for she felt nothing. She placed her hands in front of her eyes and there they stood for a long time. Through this time she whispered to herself to wake up, that she was dreaming. But she when she didn't wake up and when she again saw darkness as she opened her eyes, she finally let the tears that held in her eyes fall down her cheek.
The tears never fell for they were stopped. Light broke through the blanket of black and next to her she saw a man. The man had caught her tears in his hand. He had light blue eyes. His hair was light chestnut brown. His hair was cut to his ears and he had the front of his hair up. In the light he seemed as an angel. She couldn't tell what he was wearing except that her heart lifted. The man pointed to the light and what she saw stopped her breath.
She saw herself, dead. Not breathing. She saw herself lay in a pool of blood. She didn't understand what this meant except that is was a sign. A sign of what she didn't know. She saw that her dead self had her eyes open, instead of green eyes that were rimmed in red her eyes were pure blood red. She felt a scream stifle in her throat. She looked at the man questionably. She didn't understand still. He laid a hand on her chest and pushed. She felt herself fall into an unending darkness. From the unending darkness she heard her name. Somebody was calling her.
"Dr. McCoy," the voice said in the darkness. All around McCoy heard engines, babies crying, people arguing and she then realized where she was.
"Dr. Katherine McCoy," the voice said again. Kate opened her eyes willing, the dream had scared her. She looked up to the flight attendant.
"Call me Kate," Kate said to the flight attendant. She was cold and she felt herself shiver. She saw that the flight attendant also looked at her worryingly. The flight attendant had dark brown hair; white skinned, and bucked teeth.
"Dr. Kate McCoy, you are pale," the flight attendant said.
"I know," Kate replied. The dream was so really to her but the more she thought about the dream the more she forgot what she had been dreaming of.
"Do ye need anythin'?" Kate asked the flight attendant.
"Oh yes, we have just landed in Malta, Montana," the flight attendant said and walked away.
Kate rubbed her face roughly. She looked out the little window and saw that indeed she was at Malta, Montana. Nobody rose up yet, waiting for the go for the plane was being moved closer to the airport. A little girl, who liked ten, with a yellow dress looked at Kate. Kate looked back.
"Your eyes weird," the girl said.
"I know," Kate replied. The girl still kept looking at her.
"Why?"
"I am a demon," Kate said for that was what her parent had told her when she young.
"You don't look like a demon. Demons are red and have horns. Instead of feet they have hooves. You look like a weird angel."
Kate looked at the girl in wonder and asked," How do you know what angels and demons look like?"
"I read," the girl replied. Then all of a sudden the girl started to cry.
"Why ye cryin'?" Kate asked.
"Don't leave the airport. Something bad will happen to you," the girl said between her sobs. The girl then left quickly behind her mother. She was still sobbing. It has been said that young children have a sixth sense. They can sense when things happen but soon as they sense it they forget. In this case, the little girl who had talked to Kate had altogether forgotten about the woman that she had talked to.
Kate stood up after the girl had left and reached up to grab her cowboy hat and her small suitcase. The little girl's voice in her head repeated and repeated.
