GHOST RADIO is a MUST for any horror fan's collection
This book has got it all. Dead Kennedys, ghosts, experimental rock, a goth girlfriend, pretty much any other aspect of underground, counter-culture you could think of. All that mixed with a call-in, ghost story radio show where the host, Joaquin, is haunted by the stories his callers tell makes this book one hell of a read. Before he is haunted by his radio show, the main character is haunted by his past. Having survived two near death experiences, one where his parents die, the other where his best friend and spiritual counterpart dies, Joaquin views death and the "other-side" with a great deal of defensive cynicism. Even after his callers stories start to happen around him, he still tries his best to hold on to his cynicism. But after a mysterious call into the show, Joaquin can no longer remain cynical and begins to try and find answers to what is happening around him. This is a great read for anyone who likes the writing style of Neil Gaimen, or his books, or the early works of Stephen King. Ghost Radio is a must read, cant put down, thrilling, chilling horror story.
