Of course we all know about NaNoWriMo, but how does one exactly go about writing a novel in 30 days? I think Mark Barnes' simple set of instructions is so inspired in its simplicity that I will try it. So what exactly is his process? Well, he says he first tries to get an idea of how his novel will end, then he works backwards by outlining towards that ending. Then he writes non-stop until he gets to the end. Simple, eh? My goal and dream of writing a historical mystery set in the Philippines I think is very tailor-made for Mark's method. :)
