Life—as we take it this time
We are united in a particular incident this time –a great Indian show called ‘the Marriage of Abhi-Ash’. Actually we love to be intoxicated by attaching ourselves with dreamy, fairy situations—the more frequent those are, the better for us to keep our sanity bottled up for not to be engrossed in the regular drudgery what an Indian faces in his life down here.
The hullabaloo made a paradigm shift this time as the media gone most hyper over a deshi marriage what they termed as ‘The Marriage of the Centuryâ€. For the last fortnight or so all the media channels have assigned their employees to stay 24x7 around their residences and get live and exclusive news bytes from outside as they are considered completely unwanted by both the families. The jurnos are dying to capture a glimpse of Big B’s beard or the Ash’s dancing practice for her wedding party. Some news channels even hired pros meant for this kind of operation. Those Snaparazzis and paparazzis are trying to invade the best possible areas –be it a porch of the neighbour’s apartment or at the roof-top of a high-rising under construction. Such a dedication!
In the same city this time, another house has been completely gone into a blackhole. There lived a bubbly 26-year-old girl who had a dream of designing a children’s museum to tap the creative potential of kids. She had also planned to come back to the city and look for a place for the museum after completing her post-graduation from Virginia Tech, USA. Minal Panchal could never make it. She became one of the 32 victims in the Virginia Tech carnage.
That is the incongruity of life. You cannot be able to shut your eyes from the harsh realities however you may detest admitting those.
