What the world needs today are fresh and powerful ideas and initiatives that all countries will accept and respect.

Together, the US and the Philippines can effectively provide these ideas and initiatives that will fashion the foundation for an enduring world peace and prosperity.

Sounds utopian, doesn’t it?

Well, the Philippines already posseses the dynamic ideas that if assiduously implemented along with those of the US can truly transform the world. As the world’s most powerful nation, the US can provide the leadership and clout to secure the cooperation of all the other countries in the practical application of these ideas.

Unfortunately, the world may have to wait until after the Philippine elections in 2010 when the right leadership, hopefully, will have been given the mandate to take over the reins of government.

But this blogger does believe in miracles. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed. The reinvigorated special American-Philippine relations might come into existence sooner than we expect.
