misleading blog entry

Hello Mr. Moderator/site owner and fellow writers, I wanted to sound off about the format on the blog entries. As you go to read anyone's blog they are listed down the page with a fraction of the entry. There is nothing there to prompt you to click on the title in order to read the entire blog entry. For those of us who evidently wrote more words than allowed in that format. I wrote a funny-type piece, but the way it is displayed it appears to be complete. (But, it's not.) The word "more" or "read more" is commonly used to take the reader to the rest of the story. Anyway, without some type of prompt this just looks like a very stupid story. Nothing humorous about it at all. So, my suggestion is to use the prompter words or explain somewhere on the page that one must click on the title to read the writer's entire story. What do you think?

"Read more" link invisible if viewing your own blog

Hi fastest2,

Thanks for pointing that out. I just realized that if you are viewing your own blog, you won't see the "read more" link at the bottom of your blog entry. This wasn't the case with my other site FilipinoWriter.com -- perhaps the new version of the CMS/program I'm using, Drupal, has this quirk. However, others -- visitors and other members -- will be able to see the "read more" link of each entry of your blog. Look at the blogs of other members for example, and you will see that there are "read more" links. Or try to log out of the site, and you will see the "read more" links of the entries of your own blog. I, for example can see that you have a "read more" link at the bottom of your http://www.writelit.com/never-underestimate-the-value-of-a-nose-hair post  .

Great Title!!!

With a title that starts with the word "misleading", it's no wonder this entry has 294 reads!!!
