Old Members and Old Content

To all old WriteLit.com members:

When I wasn't looking, our site was unfortunately hacked and the database got corrupted. I asked my web host if they could put up the old database, but they said that their backups were also infected and that there was no way they could re-install the database. So, aside from the articles which I backed up in Word, the rest of the site's content are gone. In particular, I am sorry I can't re-post your blog entries.

On the upside though, this was somewhat providential since I was planning to transfer to a better CMS/program anyway, and the migration process would have been bloody (e.g., transferring the blog posts would have been a difficult task). The good news is that we have a new site which is more user-friendly and has more features, and most importantly, more secure.

I would also like to ask your help in rebuilding the site. If you are an old member, you have to create a new account. If you submitted an article before, and you don't see your article in the Articles section, please post it again. Also, if some of the details/info in the articles are missing (I've included notes in the articles concerned), kindly inform me. Moreover, if you have copies of your previous blog posts, you may want to re-post them.

Thank you very much for your understanding. May our community continue to grow!
