Protecting ourselves online

As online habitues, there is really no way we can fully protect our online persona. Still, there are a few measures we can take so we don't waste our personal resources on spam and scam that are at the least irritating and at the most enraging. It is heartening to note that online forums abound regarding the subject matter. The least we can do then is to check out these venues. When I read about the posts on United Asian Trading Company and Fedex con here, I thought of googling the word scam. Voila! So many items that can help us stay alert.

May I point the reader to a very useful and very helpful site scam.com. For site/blog owners, Google itself also provides useful info for better protection and development [Google Help>Help Center Home>My Site and Google>Creating Google-friendly site>Webmaster Guidelines], and encourages reporting abusive sites [https://www/google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport].

Good Day to all, more power to writelit.com!
