Blankets by Craig Thompson
> this is an excellent personal work rendered in a very apt medium. i personally liked his slim travel journal entitled 'Carnet de Voyage' though. so many ways i relate to him, like being a temper brat and his propensity for drama. raring to meet him, hopefully soon. there's been gossip about him visiting manila due having learned about the cubao-x shop chunky far flung gallery named after his first graphic novel.
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
> filled my long-burning desire to consume a good pageturner in the tradition of my college-era fandom of michael chricton paperbacks. makes me want to take a european tour pattered after the sites in the book (actually saw a da vinci travel journal at powerbooks last week). strange but now everywhere i look i see 'symbols'! you might want to push the da vinvi mania further by downloading the notebooks of da vince free from the guttenberg project here
