For some people theater is mostly made up of actors; when in fact, they are only a part and parcel of what makes an entire production entertaining. The production staff that makes sure that the stage if not a replica of an entire scene but a representation that will help enhance and compliment the actors in their performance on-stage.

There are only few theaters in the country that provides home for the performers and the creative and artistic people behind every production and Sinag Arts Foundation is one of them. The only theater technical training center in Asia; Sinag Arts Foundation is driven by it’s passion for good craftsmanship and professionalism.

Formed on July 2, 1998; it is composed of artistic staff: lightning designers, set designers, costume designers, electricians, producers, art managers and interior designers, among others. Sinag Arts Foundation has been around for six years already. Thriving to live-up to its objective and aim to translate, transfer, and exchange knowledge of artistic skills and technologies that will support various theater arts disciplines.

Sinag Arts Foundation is a collaboration between two countries. A relationship between Japan and the Philippines with a common passion: Technical theater and various theater arts disciplines.

It aims to discover, encourage and cultivate more Filipino talents. The foundation hopes to find more talents who wants not only to get involved on the theater’s stage but also those who wants to learn what’s going-on behind the scenes of every theater production.

Sinag Arts Foundation’s main endeavor is to uplift the level of technical theater and related disciplines in the Philippines and in Asia. It is also involved in consultancy work and collaborative projects, design assistance for theater and interiors, crew assistance, production management, theater equipment assistance and creative development.

The center is a 400 square meter training studio perfect for photography, commercial, television and movie shoot, venue for rehearsals, mini concert, play production at the black box type theater equipped with lights and sounds, battens and air conditioning with the floor area of 9M x 16 M and 5.5 M high.

It has a spacious storage area for scene designers and technicians and a dressing room area with lockers and comfort room.

The Gallery/Café is ideal for visual arts exhibits, book launching, meetings, new product launching events, and other special events that one can think of.

Currently located near the Mandaluyong City Hall, 10 minutes drive from Makati, 15-20 minutes away from Quezon City and Pasig, 30 minutes ride thru MRT from Pasay City and 7 minutes away from EDSA-Boni. Sinag Arts have its own lights and sounds equipment needed for different kinds of production.
